Game 62: Bulls 100, Bobcats 68

19 Apr 2012

Three Stars (leaderboard)
1. Rip Hamilton: 22 points (.846 TS%), 6 assists
2. Omer Asik: 9 points (.473 TS%), 15 rebounds (7 offensive)
3. Taj Gibson: 9 points (.418 TS%), 12 rebounds, 2 blocks

There was a point when reality sunk in and you realized the depth of the problems that have allowed Charlotte to go winless for more than a month.

The Bobcats are awful — low on both talent and brains, and not nearly capable of threatening even Chicago’s “B team” in the same manner as Detroit and Washington.

Only four games left before the playoffs, and fortunately, a string of Miami, Dallas, Indiana and Cleveland should hold far more interest than this recent slog through the dregs of the Eastern Conference. Now let’s get everyone healthy.

Box Score

Record: 47-15, first in the NBA
Next: Thursday 4/19 at Miami, 7:00 CT
